Each year, the Network Environment for Indigenous Health Research (NEIHR) National Coordinating Centre collaborates with the host NEIHR to invite Indigenous graduate students to the National Gathering of Graduate Students (NGGS). The gathering features research presentations, workshops, and networking opportunities, with the goal of fostering connections and collaboration across regions.

Over the past few gatherings, the NT NEIHR has supported the attendance of students, and Elders and Knowledge Holders from the Northwest Territories and Yukon, helping to build Northern presence and engagement in the national research community.
