The Circumpolar Maternal and Child Health Workshop was held March 2 and 3, 2026 and brought together Elders, Knowledge Holders, midwives, birthworkers, students and researchers from across the circumpolar north to discuss values and components of holistic birthing services. The workshop fostered rich discussions that support the path to be taken within Elder Rassi Nashalik’s mentorship area of the NT NEIHR network.
